Tempered glass

When subjected to a rapid cooling process, tempered glass is 5x stronger than non-tempered glass. This heat treatment, which is defined by thermal quenching and chemical quenching, increases the impact resistance. VMIK produces tempered glass with a thickness ranging from 4mm to 19mm.

Tempered glass has a multitude of uses, including

  • Glass doors and windows
  • Tabletops
  • Fences
  • Doors and shower cabins
  • Bath walls
  • Aquariums
